Hi William! Thanks so much. Yes, normally it is a good idea to include reference cases. The reasons are that their lawyers will probably review the reference case and it may encourage them to settle once they see they’re in the wrong. Also, if they disagree. It will force their lawyers do find their own legal authority to rebut, thus giving you a chance to verify what they’re saying as well.
