Ok got it - so legally speaking, yes you can pay the landlord from the money received. The reason is that debts from the estate of the deceased can be paid using estate funds. So if this home was owned by the estate at the time then it can be used to cover any past due amounts! Just be sure to save receipts!

Hello! My name is Dolan and thank you so much for contacting me! I just had a few quick questions for you: What state is this in again? Also, how soon do you think you'll get the sale accomplished?

I just received a text from the purchaser. He is paying the lot rent fee so that he can move it this weekend. His lawyer told him if it wasn't paid they could block him. I guess at this point I need to know if I send him the money can I be held responsible for mismanagement funds?

No - to be considered mismanaging the funds, it means that you would have to do thing like spend it on items for yourself, lose the money, or just unreasonably delay on payments - based on what you provided, I don't see a legal basis for that at all!
